We have transformed this space into a beautiful and new area for mums, dads and their little ones. The perfect place for family days out. A safe and welcoming environment for babies and non-walkers to develop in their Early Years. We have lots of resources for sensory baby play and tummy time!

Sensory Baby Play
Explore our treasure baskets and filled with bright and colourful sensory toys, that enhance your baby’s physical, cognitive and social development. Sensory toys of different shapes and materials for babies to explore, stimulating touch and all the senses.
Tummy Time
Tummy time helps develop the muscles babies need to roll over, sit up, crawl, and walk. Babies benefit from having sessions of tummy time throughout the day! We have rugs, pillows and interactive tummy-time cushions. As well as bean bags and soft toys! Let your little one explore our bright and colourful forest-themed floor.
Cosy Reading Area
Cosy up in our reading area where you’ll find lots of fabulous books for you and your little ones to read! From lots of classic Julia Donaldson book to interactive stories. Children can engage in story times with our woodland theme books, to enhance their communication and language skills.
Baby Gym
Baby gyms help strengthen grasping and reaching reflexes by encouraging newborns to grasp rattles or rings hanging in a baby gym, as they learn to hold objects, develop a visual understanding of what they are holding, and build an understanding of cause and effect as they wiggle and shake toys.
Matching & Sorting
Sort the coloured dics to the correct pots and build the geometric blocks by matching up the shapes. Concentration skills are developed as well as problem solving and coordination!

Soft Play For Babies
Introduce your babies to soft play in our baby play area! We have created a safe space for little ones to explore our new baby soft play area.
Children can engage in physical activity on the soft, foam structure. Little ones can enhance their physical development by crawling and climbing. This builds strength, coordination, balance and gross motor skills.
Our baby soft play area can also offer a range of cognitive benefits for children. Thinking and problem solving skills can be developed as they navigate their way through the soft play area.
Soft play is also beneficial for sensory development. The variety of textures and colours can help to stimulate the senses for babies.
The Importance of Sensory Play for Babies:
From birth through to early childhood, children use their senses to explore and try to make sense of the world around them. Sensory play is any activity that stimulates at least one of your child’s senses, this could be hearing, sight, touch, smell or taste. It also includes play that involves movement or balance. Sensory play encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem solving and creativity. At our Tiny Town Role Play Centre, babies will have the chance to practice sensory play in our woodland and forest area.
Sensory play can create an opportunity for children to work on their own individual skills such as:
- Social skills
- Communication and language skills
- Fine and gross motor skills
- Cognitive skills
Reading Area
Cosy up in our reading corner!
Children’s back-and-forth interactions from an early age form the foundations for language and cognitive development. Reading frequently to children, and engaging them actively in stories will give children the opportunity to thrive through conversation, storytelling and role play.
We have created a comfortable space for you and your little one to share books!
Quiet Zone

Welcome to our new Quiet Zone, located within our baby play area.
We have created a calm and relaxing space for parents and their little ones.
Take a time-out and sit in our comfy room, with relax rocking chairs and cushions and a mesmerising bubble tube!
It’s the perfect chill out area for mum and babies. Quiet, dark and cosy – A calm and peaceful environment to feed your babies, or just to have a rest and a chill out!
