Did you know you can hire out our Tiny Town Play Centre for your class! School Visits at Tiny Town:

Our indoor role-play centre is the perfect place to hire out for all kinds of events. Particularly, school & nursery visits! Children love to explore our different play areas, while developing their key areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

School and Nursery Visits

Our Tiny Town Play Centre is the perfect place for schools to visit to enhance the key areas of the EYFS. Role-play is a very important part of every child’s development, a school visit to Tiny Town allows a child the freedom to explore and use their imagination through pretend play. Our vision is to offer schools a unique role-play experience where children can be stimulated by new experiences in a safe, secure and friendly environment.

When designing our play centre, we have thought carefully with the Early Years Foundation Stage in mind, meaning there is an element of the EYFS Statuary Framework in every area of our Tiny Town Play centre.

School Visits

Key benefits of role play centres for children:

  • Allows children to explore, investigate and experiment
  • Allows children to act out and make sense of real-life situations
  • Children learn to empathise with others; taking part in a role play activity would usually mean that you are taking on the role of character which will teach children about the empathy and understanding of different perspectives.
  • Develops children’s awareness of themselves and others
  • Develops communication and language skills
  • Develops social skills as children collaborate with others
  • Encourages children to express their ideas and feelings in a relaxed environment
  • Gets children learning more as learning is disguised as play
  • Helps children learn about different cultures
  • Sparks creativity and imagination
