This is a very uncertain time for us as the Coronavirus is taking hold. The government’s advice in relation to ALL people avoiding social gatherings, together with the decision to close schools and nurseries means our beautiful Tiny Town is having to close its doors.
We feel we have a responsibility to all our staff, parents and children to do our best to prevent the spread of this horrible virus.
It is with the heaviest of hearts that on Monday 23rd March, we have made the decision to temporarily close Tiny Town.
Despite all that is happening around the world, we have every intention of recovering from this and reopening our doors in the future, although at this moment in time, it is unknown when this will be. We will be back open as soon as it is safe to do so. Life WILL get back to normal.
Existing Bookings
We are trying to comprehend the impact this decision will have on our business. Whilst the government have proposed measures to give small businesses the opportunity to access local authority grants and loans, it is unknown when or if these funds will be accessible to us. We are told that the government will offer more advice and support to the thousands of small businesses that have been forced to close and await this advice and proposed measures.
Sadly, many businesses will close their doors for good leaving guests and customers without any sort of refund or rescheduled booking.
Whilst closing Tiny Town will have a huge financial impact on us, we are hopeful that our Town will be reopened in the future and we will welcome back all our guests in the future. We must be honest and be clear that it is impossible for a small business such as ours to be able to offer all guests who have bookings in place a full refund at this moment. However, we can offer vouchers and credits which can be used when we reopen
At this very moment, we need to be honest and share with you that we do not have the reserves needed to offer refunds. We have considerable costs to cover and some immediate challenges due to the closure and the immediate loss of income
General Bookings
We will keep your booking safe on our system.
When we can be sure of the date for us reopen we will contact all guests and we will move your booking to your preferred new date to visit us.
All guests with current bookings in place will have the first refusal on new dates and session times before our booking system is made live to the general public.
We will not re-open until all guests have been contacted and bookings transferred so you have a date of your choice and get what we know will be much-needed play and family time together.
Party Bookings
If you have an exclusive hire party booked, we will honour your party, if you are wanting to go ahead. However, please be mindful to ask anyone within the at-risk category must stay away and limited adults to attend. We advise one adult per family. This said, if the government make the decision to LOCKDOWN the country ALL future party booking with be cancelled immediately
If you make the decision to cancel your child’s party, we know how upset you and your little people will be
When we can be sure of the date of our re opening we will contact all guests and we will provide you with a gift voucher to the full value of the payment you have made for your party, whether that is a deposit or full payment.
This voucher can be used to book another party or group visit or alternatively used to visit us multiple times throughout the year.
We will not re-open until all guests have been contacted so you have a date of your choice and get what we know will be much needed play and family time together.
We will be back
Despite the awful and worrying situation, we have a huge amount of determination to reopen. As most of you know, we are a new business and have only been open for 6 months. We have become successful in this short time and are therefore confident we can bounce back from this and offer a safe, welcoming environment for all our guests, big and small in the future. We have put our hearts and souls into our Tiny Town and seeing your little people having such a wonderful time gives us a huge amount of joy.
