Role Play Area in Chesterfield

Our Tiny Town Hospital is home to lots of poorly babies. We need the help of young doctors and nurses to look after them! Put on your uniform and role-play as a doctor or nurse in our Children’s Hospital. Use the stethoscope, syringe, thermometer and all the other medical tools in your doctors bag to help treat the patients. Choose from a basket of different outfits to dress the babies. Wrap them up in blankets to cradle them to sleep! 

Within our hospital you will find a reception area with a keyboard, telephone and clipboard to check in the poorly patients and make appointments! As well as, beds for the babies to sleep in and prams to push the babies around the town.

Early Years Foundation Stage in Role Play Centre in Chesterfield

Communication and language skills can be developed through pretend-play in the Children’s Hospital. For example, children can ‘put the baby to bed’ or ‘give the baby some medicine’. Children in reception will be learning to talk about their immediate family and friends. Little ones can engage in role play in our children’s hospital.  As a result, these kinds of conversations about families and babies can be encouraged. The pretend baby dolls can be used to help children consider feelings and ways to help each other feel better.

Children can use the zips and velcro to dress themselves in the nurse and doctor outfits. Subsequently, utilizing their fine motor skills! Small prams and pushchairs can be used to develop a toddlers physical strength. The low-level equipment is ideal. They can hold themselves up with the handle, pull up to a standing position, shuffle or walk with the pram in front of them.
